Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?

Yes, most international guests will need a visa. We recommend applying as soon as possible, processing time is about approximately 6 weeks.

Do I need to attend both events?

No, you do not. Your presence at either is truly appreciated.

What are the dress codes?

The Engagement will be All White.
The Wedding will be Formal attire. Think elegant and timeless.

Which airport should I fly into?

Please book your international flight into Kotoka International Airport in Accra.

How do I get to Kumasi?

We’ve made travel between Accra and Kumasi easy with a few options. A complimentary shuttle (approximately 5 hours by road) or a domestic flight to Prempeh I International Airport.

Is transportation provided on the engagement day?

Yes, transportation will be provided from the Lancaster Hotel to the venue.

Is transportation provided on the wedding day?

Transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception venue.

When should I arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving by December 14th if you plan on attending both events.
Departure can be planned for December 20th or later.

Will there be events between the engagement and the wedding?

While there are no scheduled events during this time, we encourage guests to relax and enjoy curated experiences throughout Ghana.

What should I pack?

Breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, and formal attire for the wedding. Don’t forget essentials like sunscreen and insect repellent.

What currency is used in Ghana?

The local currency is the Ghanaian Cedi (GHS). While some places accept cards, we recommend having cash and changing it to the local currency for convenience.
